Digital Trust – Precision, Reliability, Security: A Swiss Perspective

20. June 2025

Prof. Dr. Bettina Schneider and Prof. Dr. Petra Maria Asprion have published a new article in ISACA News No. 02 (June 2025) titled Digital Trust – Präzision, Verlässlichkeit, Sicherheit – typisch Schweiz.” The contribution explores Switzerland’s strong position in digital competitiveness and emphasizes the central role of Digital Trust as a foundation for a sustainable and secure digital economy.

Drawing on the ISACA Digital Trust Ecosystem Framework and insights from the Competence Centre Digital Trust, the authors discuss how organizations can systematically build and maintain trust in digital interactions by integrating governance, ethics, security, and transparency into their operations. The article also presents practical tools such as the Digital Trust Radar and the 5×4 Digital Trust Starterkit, which help organizations, particularly SMEs assess and strengthen their digital trust maturity.
