Swantje Westpfahl Moderates Panel at the World Economic Forum in Dubai
Dubai, October 2025 – The Competence Centre Digital Trust is proud to celebrate Swantje Westpfahl, who recently contributed to the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Annual Meetings of the Global Future Councils and Cybersecurity 2025 in Dubai. As part of this global gathering of over 150 leading experts, policymakers, and innovators, Swantje moderated the panel “Building Smarter Rules for Innovation”, exploring how to balance regulatory foresight with technological progress in an era of rapid digital transformation.

Her panel brought together distinguished voices from around the world:

Together, the speakers discussed how governments, industry, and civil society can create adaptable and trustworthy governance models for emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and cybersecurity resilience.
Beyond her panel, Swantje participated in several of the Forum’s workshops and expert sessions, including deep dives on AI transition, quantum resilience, and risk management toward 2035. These sessions, held under the Chatham House Rule, offered a space for candid and forward-looking discussions among global cybersecurity leaders.
