The Swiss-Africa Cybersecurity Community Expands Its Reach Across Europe

In an effort to grow its network and raise awareness, the Swiss-Africa Cybersecurity (CySec) Community recently showcased its mission at the Micro Enterprise Cyber Security (MECYS) International Conference on the 12th of March 2025 at the Pädagogische Hochschule Freiburg in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany.

The MECYS Conference gathered educators, cybersecurity specialists, and enthusiasts from across Europe, making it an ideal platform to introduce the Swiss-Africa CySec Community’s objectives. As the initiative strives to foster dialogue and collaboration in the cybersecurity field, this event provided a valuable opportunity to engage with new audiences and gain fresh momentum.

During the presentation, key insights were shared about the origins of the project, its expected impact, notable achievements since its launch in September 2024, and exciting upcoming milestones, such as the launch of the community’s website and the organization of workshops.
